Tech week at the Maine State Museum!
Spend your school vacation at the Maine State Museum! Explore the technology of World War I through codes, periscopes, and planes! Make the Maine State Museum your school vacation destination from Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. Families can fuel their discovery each day from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and again from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. All activities are free with the price of museum admission!
Technology isn’t just computers and robots – find out more about the technology of World War I this February! Try your hand at making the best flying paper airplane and decoding our secret messages. Learn the science of periscopes and send your own Morse code message!

What: School Vacation Week Family Programming
The Maine State Museum is open Tuesday through Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 10am-4pm. The museum is closed on Sunday, Monday, and all State holidays. Admission is $3 for adults; $2 for senior adults over age 62 and children 6-18 years of age; children under 6 free. Maximum charge for families is $10.
