Join us for springtime fun with the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, window painting and lots of games and activities in downtown Gardiner.

Window Scavenger Hunt! Pick up a scorecard at the Gardiner Main Street activity table in Johnson Park, next to Johnson Hall, 280 Water Street before scouring storefronts in Historic Downtown Gardiner while counting the number of eggs of all shapes and sizes on display. In addition to candy prizes for every participant, there will be a drawing among completed scorecards for other prizes.

Visits With The Easter Bunny! The Easter Bunny will be hopping around Water Street for fun and games with children as well as posing for photographs.

Spring and Easter Themed Crafts & Games

Join Gardiner Main Street, Gardiner Federal Credit Union and Flagg Financial for fun activities and entertainment in Johnson Park. The Gardiner Food Co-op and Cafe will also be hosting a seed starting activity. A roving magician will provide entertainment for kids of all ages throughout the event.

Storefront Window Painting, 11am to 1pm ~ Select Water Street businesses have offered space on their storefront windows for a spring spruce-up. Gardiner Main Street will offer creative supplies to interested children who wish to “Spring up Gardiner” by painting temporary spring-themed works in dedicated space in storefront windows of participating merchants. Reserve your space for this project on the form below, or take your chances and get supplies on the street the day of the event.

Egg Hunt in Johnson Hall, 12 to 1pm ~ Split up into age groups, children will have to opportunity to find candy filled eggs hidden inside Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center. Find the golden egg for a special prize! For ages 10 and under.
