We want to know--which businesses offer the BEST dessert in Maine? Make your voice heard at A Dessert Affair, Maine's absolutely delicious statewide competition and festival open to dessert and chocolate lovers of all ages!

All proceeds from A Dessert Affair will provide access to mental health care for people who otherwise could not pay for services. Businesses will try to earn your vote for "Best Dessert" to win the coveted People’s Choice Award. Desserts will also be judged by a panel of professionals from 92 Moose, Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Kennebec Valley, Augusta Police Department and Good Will-Hinckley.

How does the silent auction work?
The silent auction will have a variety of items on display and available for bidding. The auction opens at 5 p.m. and will close at 7:30. Auction item recipients will be announced starting at 7:30 p.m. If you are named the recipient, please visit the silent Auction table to pick up your item and pay. Cash, check and credit card will be accepted. You do not have to be present to pick up your item.
What are my parking options at the event?
Governor Hill Mansion has its own large parking lot to the left of the building. Street parking is also available as marked.
What if there is snow?
Because of the coordination involved in scheduling this event with the venue and vendors, this event will take place regardless of the weather. Bring your boots and mittens if necessary!
