"The Lobster Ride is not only the Coalition's largest annual fundraiser, it's an amazing opportunity to ride in such a beautiful part of our state." said Nancy Grant, the Coalition's executive director. "The funds that we raise from the Lobster Ride directly support our mission to protect the rights and safety of cyclists throughout Maine."
With this year's change in venue to the Camden Snow Bowl, the Coalition will be able to offer a greatly improved experience, including a beer garden, live music, mountain biking, swimming and much more. This change also means that the routes have changed from those ridden in past years with new distances of 103, 84, 64, 51, 33 and 15 miles. After the ride, participants will enjoy a party with a lobster roll lunch, live music, mountain bike riding and swimming.
This year's ride includes generous sponsorship from L.L.Bean, Hannaford as well as many others.
