Free fishing weekends in Maine take place in February and June. On these days, any person (except those whose license has been suspended or revoked) may fish without a license. All other laws and regulations apply on these days. Click here for exact dates.

Swan Island

Swan Island, a MDIFW Wildlife Management Area is about 4 miles long and is located in the Kennebec River between the towns of Richmond and Dresden.
