Gardiner's annual free, family-fun community festival, a kickoff to the Kennebec Valley’s “Whatever Family Festival.” Highlights include an open-air craft fair on historic Water Street, live music and entertainment all day, active outdoor “field day” events for all ages, and the Gardiner Federal Credit Union Fireworks! The Craft Fair accompanies the Greater Gardiner River Festival. This fun annual event has been drawing residents and visitors from the Gardiner area for 22 years. It’s a community tradition, a destination, a festival of Maine’s summer season.

Gardiner Main Street invites Maine artisans and craftsmen to its 16th annual arts and crafts festival. The craft fair accompanies the Greater Gardiner River Festival. This fun annual event has been drawing residents and visitors from the Gardiner area for 22 years. The Gardiner River Festival is a day of outdoor activities, food vendors, children's activities, nonprofit tables, art and craft vendors, performance stages of music and entertainment, and fireworks displays. It's a community tradition, a destination, a festival of Maine's summer season.

This is a juried show and Maine based artisans/craftsmen will be allowed to sell only handmade work made by them. A committee will evaluate all applications based on photos of the work submitted. We make every effort to have a high quality and well balanced show and reserve the right to limit the number of artisans/craftsmen per type of product. If you have done this show in the past you still need to send a complete application including photos of your work. Prior participation does not guarantee acceptance into this year's show.
