Affordable Housing now! No more cuts!
Please join Homeless Voices for Justice for a rally in support of affordable housing in between the Maine State House and the Cross Office Building in Augusta on Tuesday, April 11.
The proposed state budget seeks to make $65 million in cuts to Maine's anti-poverty programs. This is an injustice. Many Mainers rely on these programs to survive. Our state must do better!
Mainers need more affordable housing now! Emergency shelters are at capacity. We must end homelessness!
