According to a recent study by the University of Maine-Muskie Center, in Maine, One in Five people will experience sexual violence in their lifetime.  This shocking statistic has outraged many of us in our community and we have chosen to highlight the 1 in 5 statistic as we Race for the One!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and this year our premier awareness /fundraiser event is our 7th Annual “One in Five” 5K Event being held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Thomas College, in Waterville, Maine.  We welcome both runners and walkers; for the more serious runners, this event is timed, and our course is certified by USA Track & Field!
