Baldacci's legal background includes experience in civil litigation matters, including family law, employment law, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, and personal injury, with specific experience including bicycle accidents, carbon monoxide poisoning, dog bites, motorcycle accidents, slip and fall injuries, traumatic brain injuries, vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and wrongful death. During her career, she has also played an integral role in cases on appeal and has drafted numerous appellate briefs before the Appellate Division of the Workers' Compensation Board and the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. Leah conducted her first oral argument before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court before completing her first year of practice.

Leah earned her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from the University of Southern Maine, and her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Maine School of Law. While in law school, she served as an extern for Deputy Bar Counsel at the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar and served as a member of the US:IT Operation Excellence Committee for the University of Maine System. Leah also worked as a Student Attorney for the Family Law Division at Pine Tree Legal Assistance, where she represented victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in protection from abuse and divorce matters.
Committed to volunteering and improving the well-being of the underserved in her community, she continues to serve on the Domestic Violence Panel through the Volunteer Lawyers Project. Prior to joining Lipman & Katz, she worked for a litigation firm in Portland, where her practice focused on personal injury, family law, and workers' compensation matters.

Leah lives in Sidney with her husband, Jack, who is also an attorney.
