The Harlow announces their schedule of workshops for the month of November, 2018 including bookbinding, woodblock printmaking, open studio sessions, and Bob Ross paint alongs. Registration is now open for these workshops, held at the Harlow’s new, larger location at 100 Water Street in Hallowell. Pre-registration is required for all workshops unless otherwise stated. Workshops at the Harlow offer something for everyone, whether it’s an opportunity to learn something new or expand on existing skills. Sundays, November 11 and 18, 10-1:  Intro to Woodblock Printmaking with Jaime Wing

Join local printmaker Jaime Wing for a two-part crash-course in traditional relief printing. Students will come away from the class with a good foundation of the history of block printing and the skills to go forth and create their own prints. Over the course of two sessions, Participants will design and carve their very own wood block and print a small edition of archival-quality prints. Although all materials will be provided, students are encouraged to bring drawings or images of inspiration for their design. No prior printmaking experience required! Class is limited to adults ages 18 & up. All materials are included. $85 Members/ $95 Non-Members. Pre-registration required.
