How community-based health organizations can impact the health of your employees and their families

Gerry has been working as a senior executive in the non-profit sector since 1998, serving as the Chief Financial Officer for both Ingraham and Harbor Family Services prior to joining Spectrum Generations in July of 2011 as the President & CEO. He is a 1985 graduate of SUNY Maritime College and earned a Masters of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 1995. He is a graduate of the Naval War College, National Defense University and the Maine Institute for Civic Leadership (now Lift+360), Lambda class. Gerry retired as a Captain from the U.S. Navy in 2015 after serving 30 years of active and reserve duty.

Spectrum Generations is an $8.5 million Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) serving central and midcoast Maine. Spectrum Generations operates 4 community centers and 2 offices, and 2 additional community centers in partnership with other nonprofits. Services include Meals on Wheels, social dining, aging and disability resource counseling, a consumer helpline, family caregiver support, health and wellness activities, and community case management for the intellectually disabled. Through its Bridges Home Services division, Spectrum Generations offers in-home personal support service (PSS), adult day services, and life care consulting. As the lead partner in the joint venture Healthy Living for ME, Spectrum Generations is focused on serving the needs of all adults, to improve their health outcomes.
