Always one of Maine's premier annual events, the City of Augusta Fourth of July Parade & Fireworks Celebration promises to be ESPECIALLY chock-full-of-fun this year! The festivities begin with a concert by the ever-popular Down East Brass in Market Square from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by the Fourth of July Parade at 4 p.m. The parade will wend through the streets of Augusta from its beginning at the State House Parking Lot to its end at Old Fort Western.

Many more don't-miss events begin in Mill Park at 5 p.m., where you and your loved ones will delight to the Bounce House, the hay rides, great local vendors, live music, the Wrecking Ball, the Inflatable Bungie Run, the Roaring River 27-feet-high water slide, and the Gladiator Joust. The day's unforgettable events culminate with a concert by Cold Blue Steel at 5:30 p.m. and the Elton John tribute band Yellow Brick Road at 7:30 p.m.
