Maine's Capital Area

This inaugural cheese festival will feature a variety of cheese samples from local cheese makers and beer from Bigelow Brewing, plus bread-making demonstrations and suggestions on bread, beer, and cheese pairings. There will also be wood-fired pizza and other light snacks and beverages. Cheese, bread, and beer will all be available for purchase.

Tickets are $10 and will be available at the gate or ahead of the event at Main Street Skowhegan, 93B Water St., 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and at Bigelow Brewing Co., 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. All proceeds benefit Somerset Cultural Planning, a project of the Wesserunsett Arts Council.
