Our History and Mission

Founded in 1932, the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce is a key part of the business community and a driving force in the economic development of the Kennebec Valley region.

With over 700 members of varying sizes and industries throughout 23 communities, the Kennebec Valley Chamber provides countless services to the community and our members. Some of the key functions of our chamber are legislative support, community events, educational seminars, economic development, and business networking opportunities. 

 The Kennebec Valley Chamber’s region includes Augusta, Belgrade, Chelsea, Dresden, Farmingdale, Fayette, Gardiner, Hallowell, Jefferson, Litchfield, Manchester, Monmouth, Mount Vernon, Pittston, Randolph, Readfield, Richmond, Somerville, Wayne, West Gardiner, Whitefield, Windsor, and Winthrop.
